Sydney Aquarium

Tuesday, September 28, 2004 - After my cruise of the Sydney Harbour I went to the world-famous Sydney Aquarium. I saw loads of cute and creepy critters.

One of my favourite pictures.... These two were checking each other out.

Fairy penguins - these guys wouldn't be still, not even for the split-second it takes to snap a photo!

They have these underwater tunnels where you can go under a seal tank and a shark tank. I was fine at the seal one, taking time to watch them frolic about. The shark one was super crowded and I got a little claustrophobic, so I didn't stay long for that one, but here are pics of both.

So if there are long-necked geese... why not long-necked turtles... odd though they may look:

This sign cracked me up - it says "Do Not Enter - If the Fall Does Not Kill You the Crocodile Will"

Heh... yeah... it was a long way down... and crocs... uhm... no worries mate.
