Other Kaikoura Critters

Like many other places in NZ Kaikoura has New Zealand Fur Seals (actually sea lions).

It was early spring so there were a few lambs about. And now I know why they say "quick as a lambs tail" cuz they are Q U I C K.

I took a drive down to Christchurch and there was a field of Ostrich. I stopped to check them out since ostrich are funny creatures. This one tried to take a bite out of my camera... but I was too quick for him ;)

You know you're in New Zealand when you have to stop in the middle of a dirt road for a farmer and his 5 sheepdogs to finish hearding his sheep down the middle of the road ;)
