Green Island is the place to be!

(get it? green island... work with me people)

My friend Aya took a short trip to the Bahamas years before I moved to Minnesota. One thing she did on that trip that I was too chicken to do was parasailing. But there I was, doing things I'd never dreamed I would do, in one of the most beautiful places on earth, by myself... What did I have to lose?

It was amazing. I had a view of the island, the ocean... I tried not to think about the Great White Sharks lurkng about...

I also went snorkling for the first time in the ocean. I had taught myself how to snorkle while living at Aya's mom's house the summer before my trip - they have a pool. I had a feeling I would go snorkling at least once on this trip!
